No Substitute for AGGRAND
Experience Gerry Reid got involved with AGGRAND almost
from day one, and he hasn’t looked back. He read about it, studied
it and even went to organic gardening seminars. He learned the
products and used them for his lawns and gardens and was impressed
from the start.“Natural fertilizer is going to replace chemical
fertilizer,” said Reid. “It’s the only route we can go for a better
environment.” A West Virginia
cattle farmer who kept detailed documentation of his business told
Reid about the first time he used AGGRAND 4-3-3 on his cattle
fields. He purchased new spraying equipment and a season-worth of
Natural Fertilizer 4-3-3 and Liquid Lime at half what it used to
cost him for chemical fertilizers. At the end of the season, he
bailed 40 percent more hay than he had ever bailed in his fields
before. His cattle used to consume 50 magnesium blocks a year, but
he was able to reduce that to 12
because the cattle were better fed in his field. A pasture became
ready to graze after 30 days instead of 90. Reid also worked with a
Washington, D.C. gardener who conducted an experiment with three
tomato plants. One received no fertilizer, one got Miracle Grow and
one was given AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer. The plant that received no
fertilizer was 3 feet tall. The plant that got Miracle Grow was a
little taller. The plant that received AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer
was over 4 feet tall. The plant was full of leaves and fruit
production was greatly increased. “I’ve used it on all my lawns,”
said Reid. “The soil here is like concrete in summer. By the middle
of summer, we used to have no lawn, only weeds. Thanks to AGGRAND,
we have a really healthy lawn and grass grows when it never used
to.” A contractor landscaping the medians on highways called Reid to
try some AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer. Even after several days of
heavy rains, the AGGRAND produced results the contractor had never
seen before. He called Reid again to order AGGRAND Liquid Lime and
reported that the grass in the median came in sooner than expected
and looked amazing. He said he couldn’t believe his eyes. Reid knows
that AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer can be an important part of any
AMSOIL business. “When I sign someone up as an AMSOIL Dealer, I
automatically send them extra AGGRAND literature,” said Reid. “I
display my AGGRAND products right alongside my AMSOIL products in
the garage. I see them as two different sides of the same
high-quality coin. AMSOIL is about synthetics and AGGRAND is about
organics, but they both do very good things for the environment. If
you tie the two together correctly, customers will understand why it makes sense to sell
both products.”
AGGRAND User Gets Record
Yield "I've been farming my
entire life and I’ve never experienced the consistently impressive
results I’ve had with AGGRAND 4-3-3 and AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime.
It exceeds all of my expectations.” “AGGRAND is a quarter of the
cost of the chemical fertilizers. It’s more economical than anything
around and it’s organic.”
AGGRAND Dealer Robert Benson of West Milford,
W.Va. has used AGGRAND products for more than a decade. Benson said
AGGRAND saves him money, returns a higher crop yield and his cattle
are healthier because AGGRAND is composed of organic material. In
the past, Benson grazed 30 cattle on about 150 acres. Since using
AGGRAND he now runs 50 head of cattle on the same number of acres.
“I actually get that much more hay from each pasture with AGGRAND,”
he said. Benson saves 60 percent using AGGRAND over chemical
fertilizer 19-19-19. “Big savings,” he said. “AGGRAND can save you
as much as $10 per acre and it will not burn vegetation. There’s no
leeching and no runoff and it won’t pollute rivers.” When he started
using AGGRAND, Benson talked with county agents about it and they
said it wouldn’t work. “After my first year with AGGRAND, I went
back to the county with all the facts and figures from using AGGRAND
and they just shook their heads,” he said. “They couldn’t deny how
well AGGRAND worked. Over the long run natural fertilizer is much
better than chemical fertilizer all around. Saving thousands of
dollars a year is big money, especially with the small profit margin
any farmer has these days. “AGGRAND is a quarter of the cost of the
chemical fertilizers. It’s more economical than anything around and
it’s organic. Those are the two main things I really like about
AGGRAND”. Versatile, convenient, effective, AGGRAND Natural
fertilizers are organically certified liquid nourishment for
commercial and private growers of grains, vegetables and flowers
uses a combination of AGGRAND 4-3-3 and AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime
to get the best, tastiest and biggest corn crops. Ward has used
AGGRAND 4-3-3 and AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime for more than seven
years on a variety of crops with great success. Ward faced many of
the pitfalls common to farmers in the 2007 growing season. To begin
with, he planted his corn late. The late planting was followed
almost immediately by a lot of rain that led to unusually high
temperatures for his area in Ohio. During the hot spell, Ward used a
higher concentrate of AGGRAND 4-3-3 and AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime
because he knew he only had time to fertilize once. Using a 200
gallon spray tank mixed with 4 gallons of 4-3-3 and 4 gallons of
liquid lime he fertilized the five acres of corn. “I only needed to
fertilize once,” Ward said. “The corn never stopped growing.” By the
Fourth of July the corn was knee high. The third week of July it was
chest high and by the first week of August the corn was over his
head. The corn tasseled in the first and second week of September
and was matured (denting) by the third to fourth week of that month.
"These cobs are as big around as soda pop cans and are 12 to 14
inches long,” Ward said. “The yield was great because there were so
many kernels on each cob."
Apple Orchards Thrive With AGGRAND®
Fertilizers If you
ask David Chung what he does to make his apple trees so healthy and
the fruit crisp, juicy and sweet, his cryptic answer is, “It’s the
fishy.” Chung is the owner of Johna’s Orchard, a family business
in Tehachapi, Calif., a city in the mountains outside of
Bakersfield. “Farmers don’t share their secret ingredients with each
other,” Chung said. He grows and sells 10 varieties of Fuji apples.
“Each kind has a great taste,” Chung said. The secret to his success
- AGGRAND® Liquid 4-3-3 Natural Fertilizer,
and Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash 0-0-8. Chung has been using
AGGRAND products since the early 1990s. The products were
recommended by his friend’s grandfather, another orchard grower who
had been using AGGRAND for years. The friend became an AGGRAND
Dealer and Chung started using AGGRAND and found it to be the best
fertilizer for his orchards. “Immediately we noticed a world of
difference,” he said. Johna’s Orchards has been in business since
1978 and became organically certified in 1998. “It wasn’t easy to
get our organic certification when we couldn’t prove that AGGRAND
was organic,” Chung said. “Two years ago we couldn’t use it because
the regulations were becoming more strict.” AGGRAND ingredients
always have been recognized as organic, said AGGRAND Manager Greg
Sawyer. However, AGGRAND recently received official approval as
organic material from the USDA and Washington State Department of
Agriculture. “It makes it much easier. I’m glad AGGRAND got the
certification,” Chung said. “One thing is for sure, we are convinced
that AGGRAND has the best effect and we won’t give it up ever. And
the service is great too.” Chung said monthly spraying begins in the
spring and continues until September or October. He compares his
trees to the same kind of trees in the orchard next to his. “Within
the first month our leaves are greener, healthier, fresher looking
than the trees next door,” Chung said. “The quantity is about the
same, but the quality is much better. It’s the taste and color – our
apples are crispy with lots of flavor, and they’re juicy. Our apples
have more taste than any other apples in the world.” Johna’s
Orchards customers have been exclusively organic food sellers in the
past. “They would call every year and ask us to supply them,” Chung
said. Now the apples are sold at farmer’s markets as well. “Our
apples are the tastiest at the farmer’s markets
too.”
